This Privacy Policy explains what personal data izicollect ("we") processes when you use izicollect as a merchant, and when your customers pay through our checkout.
1. Merchant data
- Account data: business name, email, website, password (stored only as a secure hash), and the IP address used to sign up and sign in.
- Payment data: invoices, amounts, order IDs you send us, deposit addresses, blockchain transaction data, withdrawal addresses and your webhook address.
- Support data: messages you send us.
2. Customer data
Customers who pay through the checkout do not need to create an account. We process the data needed to complete the payment: the invoice details, the blockchain address and transactions, the IP address used to create the invoice (to prevent abuse) and, if the customer requests a refund, the refund address. Blockchain transactions are public by nature.
3. Why we use data
- To provide the Service: create invoices, confirm payments, credit balances, process withdrawals and refunds, and send webhooks.
- To keep the Service secure: rate limits, fraud prevention and investigating abuse.
- To meet legal obligations and answer lawful requests from authorities.
- To send you service emails such as confirmation codes, password resets and important changes. We do not sell personal data.
4. Sharing
We share data only with providers that help us run the Service (hosting, email delivery, blockchain infrastructure), under confidentiality obligations, and when the law requires it.
5. Retention
We keep account and payment records for as long as your account is open and afterwards for as long as needed for accounting, legal and security reasons. Blockchain records cannot be deleted by anyone.
6. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction or the deletion of data we no longer need, by writing to support@izipay.me.
7. Security
We use encrypted connections, hashed passwords, signed webhooks, rate limits and access controls. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong unique password.
